EMPRI promotes sustainable development through education, awareness, and policy support. Its headquarters, “Hasiru Bhavana,” is a green building designed to minimize environmental impact. The institute also serves as the state nodal agency for climate change and is recognized by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) as a center for climate research.
